Getting in touch: what to expect.
How the first conversation works, and what to do if the form doesn’t fit your project.
(416) 990-9179We call you back on the number you gave, or email you if you prefer, to set up your free first consultation, by phone or at the property. If the project needs drawings, we book a site visit to measure. The quote comes after that and spells out what the drawings and engineering cover, so you know what you are getting before you commit.
Yes. Call the Richmond Hill office at (416) 990-9179 or email info@fineengineering.ca and tell us about the project in your own words. The form only saves time on that first conversation: it tells us what you are planning, where the property is and when you would like to start, so we can come to the call prepared.
Choose “Other / not sure” and describe the project in the message. Working out what a project needs is what the first consultation is for: whether it calls for a building permit, engineering, a zoning review or all three. Fine Engineering covers BCIN design, P.Eng structural and mechanical work and the permit itself, so you won’t be passed between firms.
Yes. Choose Structural Engineering and tell us what you found on site. Fine Engineering’s licensed P.Eng reviews framing, foundations and beams, designs the fix when something doesn’t match the drawings, and writes the letters an inspector or the city asks for. Send photos of the problem area and any inspection notes, and we’ll tell you what the next step is.
